The Investiture Ceremony of Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati was held on Monday, 11th April 2022. The newly elected School Cabinet was formed and sworn in.
Mr Surendra Kumar, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Govt of Assam graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He congratulated the newly appointed cabinet members and enlightened them with his inspiring speech. Mr Kumar emphasied on the importance of noble and fearless leadership.
The Oath Taking Ceremony was led by the Principal, Dr. Diganta Halder. He congratulated the Council members and reiterated the crucial role of the School Cabinet in maintaining a conducive environment in school. The parents of the Headgirl and the Headboy also addressed the august gathering.
The event commenced with the Principal and the Academic Head, Sr Wing, escorting the Cabinet Members to the stage and the Lighting of the Lamp Ceremony. The occasion witnessed a wide range of cultural programmes performed by the students of the school. The event concluded with the singing of the School Song.
