The diverse culture of India exquisitely treasures a wide variety of folk dance forms that vary in style of different regions across the country. It is rightly considered as one of the most captivating art forms which beautifully showcases self-expression.
Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati hosted an exciting Inter-school Folk Dance Competition on 13th May, 2023. Students grabbed this opportunity and displayed their brilliant dancing skills. The school was chock-a-block with countless students from over 20 participant schools, dressed in enticing traditional folk attires. The judges for the occasion were the acclaimed folk dance exponent and singer, Mrs Jina Rajkumari Goswami and acclaimed dancer Mr. Raju Rabha.
