A Career Counselling Workshop was conducted by Debahuti Moral ( Student Counsellor ) for the students of Class X on 10th of February 2017 at the school auditorium. The interactive workshop included motivational videos, Ted Talks. Career test was also offered for the interested students, followed by counselling and psycho- education.
A workshop on substance abuse and addiction was held for the students of Class VIII and IX on 20th February by Debahuti Moral ( Student Counsellor ). The following areas were covered during the workshop:
Definition of Addiction,
Process of Addiction- Trigger, Behaviour , Reward.
Consequences of Addiction
Scientific explanation of what a drug or any Chemical substance can do to a body of a minor or adolescent
Ways and steps to get rid of Bad Habits- The 3 C's method: Crave, Control, Consequences.
Self introspection through a questionnaire that was prepared specially to also understand the reasons for consumption and everything related to it.
