The annual music program “Mélange†was held on 26th August in Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti. Sir Chandra Das honoured the occasion as the Chief Guest. Melange was a platform to showcase talent from various fields -
Dance forms like Mallari and Ganesh Vandana form the genre of Bharatnatyam while the Shatriya performance revolving around the life stories of Radha Krishna left the audience spell bound.
Self defense techniques from Taekwondo and skills display through gymnastics performance were fabulous.
Perfect co-ordination of the mind and body coupled with beautiful formations displayed the skills learnt in yoga.
Finer taste for music was also witnessed through the Ragas, French song, performance of music band by means of Guitar ( a latin composition )Drums (Rock and folk fusion) Keyboard ( Hindi numbers)and Violin
( Patriotic numbers).
Roller Skates performance was a unique blend of dancing to the tunes of music with skates.
